‘Limited scope servicing is generally best for boilers under 5 years old’
“The above process follows the (very popular) ‘Vaillant ecoTEC’range of condensing boilers.
There may be slight process deviations and service parts within manufacturers, models and age, however the general process / principle remains the same…”
Not just a boiler service!
We test your system water for the presence of inhibitor and for turbidity levels on both service options. If there is diluted, reduced, or no inhibitor detected we will offer to treat the system by introducing a Fernox F1 chemical.
If during the heating water health check we find the turbidity levels high we will offer a solution to this also. It may include a system drain down to replace the current water, the installation of a magnetic filter, or a magnacleanse treatment.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words…
How long will the service take?
Our ‘full scope boiler service’ can take up to 2 hours. We may need to order service parts that are not carried on our van. Don’t worry though; we have a very good supplier that will deliver service parts when we need them.
Our ‘limited scope boiler service’ can take up to 40mins.
Will the service uphold the manufacturer’s warranty?
As a ‘gas safe’ registered company, our service packages will keep any major boiler manufacturers warranties and extended guarantees up to date, so relax, we got you covered.
Will the water and gas be switched off?
Absolutely not. We would never willingly prevent cups of tea being made!! We will isolate the gas and water supply at the boiler only, allowing cookers, toilets, and taps to be used. Unfortunately the hot water and the heating will be interrupted during the service.
Free boiler sticker with every service!
We will leave our contact details sticker on the boiler, showing the date serviced and the next recommended service date. If you have the original service book to hand then great, we can fill this in also.
